This Media and Likeness Release ("Release") governs one thing only: Valley Boys' use of a player's identifiable name, image, likeness, voice, photograph, or video in Valley Boys advertising and promotional materials. It is a separate document from the Terms of Service. As Terms §9 states, the operational license granted by accepting the Terms does not, by itself, authorize promotional use — that use requires this Release or another valid authorization. Accepting the Terms alone does not grant it.

The undersigned grants Valley Boys a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and publicly perform the player's name, image, likeness, voice, photograph, video, and film (collectively, "Likeness") in Valley Boys advertising and promotional materials, including: the Valley Boys website, Valley Boys social media accounts, printed and digital advertisements, program brochures, and presentations about Valley Boys programs.
This grant covers Likeness captured at Valley Boys activities, events, and sessions, and Likeness the undersigned provides to Valley Boys for promotional use. It does not transfer ownership of any photo or video the undersigned owns.
No compensation is due for use authorized by this Release. Valley Boys has no obligation to use any particular Likeness, and the undersigned has no right to approve individual promotional materials before publication. Valley Boys will not use Likeness in a manner that is defamatory or that materially misrepresents the player's participation.
The undersigned may revoke this Release for future uses at any time by written notice to info@valleyboysbaseball.com. Revocation takes effect when Valley Boys receives it and applies only to promotional materials not yet published: Valley Boys will stop new promotional uses of the player's Likeness after revocation, but is not required to recall, delete, or alter materials already published or distributed before revocation. Revocation does not affect the player's scout profile or platform settings, which remain under the player's control under the Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the undersigned releases Valley Boys and its members, officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from promotional use authorized by this Release, including claims based on privacy, publicity, or portrayal, except claims based on use that materially exceeds the scope of this Release or that is defamatory. This section does not limit or exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
This Release is governed by Arizona law. Disputes arising from this Release are resolved under the dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms (§22, Dispute resolution; arbitration; class-action waiver), which are incorporated here by reference. If a provision of this Release conflicts with the Terms for a particular promotional use, the more specific provision governs that use (Terms §28). This Release, together with the Terms and Privacy Policy, constitutes the agreement governing the promotional use described here.
By signing, the undersigned confirms they have read this Release, understand the promotional use it authorizes and the revocation right in §5, and sign voluntarily. A copy of this Release will be made available on request to info@valleyboysbaseball.com.
This Release is accepted by signing a copy (paper or electronic) kept on file by Valley Boys. The signed copy records: player name and date of birth; parent or legal guardian name and relationship to the player (required if the player is under 18); signatures; and dates.
